Peter didn't specify, sorry.
I was sad too actually, lol. He was, and still is, a character.
I'm surprised they hadn't done this before...but I guess sports games aren't usually the ones you rush out to buy a la Halo, MGS etc.
It has the potential to violate the First Amendment.
No, no, no! Look at it this way, right now the current government are slightly more video game friendly than those of the past. But if, and when, someone else gets into power then who knows what will happen...censorship?
Well, if I lived in America and played video games...I'd care. The ESA set-up the ESRB to stop governmental intervention. The FCC is an independent agency of the Government...it's just not right.
I've not tried the 360 demo, but the PC Multiplayer Beta is pretty solid. Is the demo any good?
I've got the Beta and it really does grow on you. At first, I wasn't impressed...but the mechanics are actually quite sound, if somewhat basic. But hey, Halo's quite like that and it has served it quite well.
I was proud of dropping on top of some guy and killing him...can't say I had done that before outside of Super Mario and the like.
Come on...the Flood became something to expect rather than something to be feared. Gravemind in the second one was okay, as were the flood levels...but in Halo 3, they weren't as good and Gravemind was totally underused. It was bizarre to introduce a character like that just to have it sizzle out...
Long time Civ player, so I found it hard to adjust to a console Civ. Same goes for C&C. To me, it's the best.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and I am...was a big fan of Ensemble Studios. So yes, I was going to buy it regardless...feel a bit stupid now? Thought so...
Halo Wars was good for a console RTS, I don't get the hate...
Yeah, but everywhere in the world is going through some sort of video game legislation change right now it would seem. At least they may show to the Government that gaming is a well-played activity in Oz.
+ 1 on Gravemind. Shocking use of him/it in Halo 3. But Halo 3's story was shockingly underwhelming.
Very impressive. Over-reliance on certain things, but other than that...pretty damn well amazing.
Yeah, but in terms of gaming...I reckon the amount of gamers who are Metallica fans must be pretty damn close to gamers who like The Beatles. Actually, Metallica is probably more popular.
Well, I didn't say the best...I said better. But yeah, I think it's pretty friggin' close.
Yeah, I'd agree with Tribes more than Unreal.
No way, it's going open-world and stuff. I reckon it'll be pretty sweet.
Yeah, needs a lot of work for sure. It has potential though.
Good call on Timothy Dalton for Ryan...he was so good as the benevolent/malevolent bad guy in Hot Fuzz.
